This super adorable organic cotton set is sure to be a crowd pleaser BUT it may (or may not) come with a minor flaw.
When we released these last year, we sold many sets but did have one come back with some super weird staining on the pants only, just after the first wash. We refunded the customer and pulled the items from our store until we could figure out what may have caused this. We are guessing that the dye from the drawstring may have leaked a bit in the wash, causing light beige staining around the top of the pants. Because we have had only one incidence with this possible issue, it would be impossible for us to know if it would (or how many it could) affect in the future.
Because of this, we have decided to put them all into the oopsie bin (as quality is one of our biggest focuses) as it would be irresponsible for us to keep selling them without making this possible flaw known.
Should you purchase this item, we would suggest that the pants be washed on cold cycle, by themselves, and hung to dry. The drawstring may or may not bleed, but at least if it does, it should not bleed a second time during the next wash. Alternatively, we also suggest to avoid the possibility of this issue completely, please remove the drawstring and discard. There have been no reported incidences with the top.
